Contents: Record of the transfer of several items of painting-work, including mainly coffins, by the draughtsman 1r-Mnw to workman Imn-wa ; each item followed by a price in deben and once in grain(?). The amount of work is added up to a sum of 83 debens of copper. The few words on the reverse are not clear in connection to the text on the obverse.

Remarks: Provenance: note that many of the Strasbourg ostraca were excavated by J.E. Quibell in the Ramesseum in 1895-1896 and given to the Bibliothèque Nationale et Universitaire by W.M. Flinders Petrie in 1918 (Koenig, Ostraca Strasbourg , 1; Spiegelberg, ZÄS 58 (1923), 25, note 4). Date(s) mentioned/attributed: the year-date is to be read as 7 instead of 5, and the dating to Ramesses VII is to be preferred (Janssen, JEA 52 (1966), 91, note 2). Names, Titles: a more complete transcription is to be found in Černý Nb. 35, 77, showing i.a. that the name of the lady in line 6 is to be read as 6A-di.t-6A-wr.t. See also O. Gard. 190.
