Contents: A deposition and a memorandum with series of indictments brought by workman Imn-nxt against the chief workman PA-nb . The named charges were intended for the attention of the vizier, and they include thefts, bribery, adultery, and threats. The reason for Imn-nxt 's disapproval of PA-nb 's misconduct might have been the latter's promotion as one of the chief workmen.

Remarks: Terminology: the reading sxA.w r (recto II 1, 5, 13, 14, 19, 21, ~22#, verso I 4, 6, 9, 11, 13) by Černý, Studies Griffith, 49-50 note 1; McDowell, Jurisdiction, 16. The alternative restoration rmT-is.t Nfr-Htp (recto I ~2#) suggested by Černý, JEA 15 (1929), 247 note 2; Davies, Egyptian Historical Inscriptions, 344-345. 1nr wife(?) of 1sy-sw-nb=f (recto II 3) might be identical with 1nr wife(?) of Pn-dwA (recto II 2). Janssen, in: Gleanings , 115. There is, however, no positive evidence to support such an identification. Davies, Who's Who at Deir el-Medina , 65.
