Remarks: Provenance: Contrary to what Edwards states ( JEA 68, 126) Bankes acquired his papyri during his second visit in 1819. Dating: The arguments by Edwards for a 19th dynasty date are not convincing, see Winand in RdE 46 (1995), 197-8, who concludes to a date between the reign of Ramesses V and the reign of Ramesses IX.
