Description: Papyrus sheet, 13 x 21 cm. Damaged. The papyrus was originally folded horizontally, one fold is still visible near the top of the recto. Recto V/H, verso H/V. Top recto = bottom verso. In black ink 10 lines of writing on the recto and 7 lines (including address) on the verso. A large gap has caused damage to the upper part of nearly all signs of the first line of the recto and the lower part of all signs of the address on the verso. Surface on both recto and verso rubbed and several signs are partly effaced. Address at the bottom of the verso.

Contents: A message from the necropolis scribe 9Hwty-ms (who is yourneying in Middle Egypt) to the two chief workmen and other members of the gang asking them urgently for letters and information, to give attention to Bw-th-Imn and 5d-m-dwA.t . A special note for several people, mostly female, asks them to pray to Amon for his safe return, for he has been ill since he came north.
