Rugged adventurer Calhoun searches in Egypt for the tomb of queen Artatama, rumoured to contain a legendary emerald. He does not believe the tale that whoever comes into possession of the emerald dies a horrible death.

Produced by Troma Entertainment, an American film company that produces very low-budget independent movies, known for their surrealistic or automatistic nature, along with their use of shocking imagery. Many have developed cult followings.
