moviePirate Islands: The Lost Treasure of Fiji
USA, 2007

Jim Daly,Adelaide Clements, Saskia Burmeister, John Noble
Directed by Grant Brown

Three Australian computer game champs are forced to swap their game consoles for real swords when they are thrown into a virtual pirate island world in Fiji. They face the dreaded Captain Blackheart and a band of fierce pirates for a hoard of treasure stolen from an Egyptian pharaoh's tomb by the legendary pirate ship Neptune's Revenge and its captain, Salty Ben. There follows a battle against time to find three torn pieces of a treasure map which will lead to the treasure of treasures, the Eye of Osiris, and their way home.

This sequel to the international television series with the same name has everything children would enjoy: dumbfound silly pirates with funny face expressions, smart jealous but mischievous younger brother, pretty girls in hula skirts and the most catchy of all, hidden treasure. At the center of it an Ancient Egyptian piece, of course - a logical thing for a series playing in the South Pacific!
