Billy the Cat tells a story about a little bad boy who met a wizard who turned him into a cat, so the boy would feel what it is like to be the victim for once. In this episode his cat-mentor Sir Hubert makes fun of an ancient legend known to all cats: back in ancient Egypt a cat named Hubisis once rebelled against the mighty queen Catapatra, who ruled with the help of a mighty cat-eye amulet. Hubisis managed to escape, but as a revenge Catapatra put a curse on all his descendents. Sir Hubert doesn't believe in this fairytale, but he soon discovers that he himself is a descendent of Hubsis, as he is kidnapped by the powerful cat Eartha, follower of queen Catapatra. To punish him Catapatra want to make him a living mummy. Of course Billy and Queenie come to the rescue. By stealing the amulet, thus robbing Catapatra of her powers, they manage to free Sir Hubert.

Joining Sai Saici, the group learns that the Mummy Gundam and its pilot were taken over by DG cells because of the mummy's strong desire to defeat Sai Saici after what his grandfather did in a previous tournament. The Mummy Gundan appears again, and this time Domon uses his Super Mode to defeat it.

Last episode of season three of the animated television series "Rugrats", which ran for a total of 172 episodes between 1991 and 2004. The series centers around four babies and their day-to-day lives, usually involving common life experiences that become adventures in the babies' imaginations. This particular episode focuses on topics of religion, particularly towards Jewish beliefs and practices. Throughout the episode, the different religious practices of each of the characters is revealed. The episode received overwhelmingly positive reviews from television critics at the time and is one of the most popular episodes of Rugrats in its broadcasting history.

Archaeologists digging at Abu Sir discover an ancient stone with information about a secret treasure hidden inside a piramid. Having gained access to the pyramid, the treasure is found inside the sarcophagus of a princess. However, according to the Egyptian authorities the find was illegal and the archaeologists end up in all sorts of trouble. Each time they manage to bail themselves out by having luscious sex with various officials, including the minister of culture.

3-part hardcore porno movie. Interesting is the fact that the outdoor scenes without nudity were all filmed on location in Egypt. The sexually explicit scenes were obviously shot elsewhere in a studio. Only one sex scene appears to have been actually shot on location, which, judging from the scenery, probably took place on a remote spot in the Sinai mountains.

The Egyptian princess Anuket commands Hercules to help her find a stolen mummy. First he refuses, but when he learns that the mummy has awakened and is hungry for human life, he changes his mind. Also on the mummy's trails is the renegade priest Sokar, who hopes to unleash its powers and use them to become pharaoh of Egypt. Sokar seizes the mummy from merchant Salmoneus, along with a pendant known as an ankh that gives him control of the creature. Knowing the mummy will become unstoppable once it consumes the life force of a human, Sokar turns it loose on Hercules. The son of Zeus traps the mummy in a tomb and riddles it with spikes, but this proves only a temporary setback to a creature already dead. After Hercules rescues Anuket from Sokar, the mummy reappears, kills Sokar, and absorbs the priest's life force. It now threatens to become all-powerful, but Hercules literally unravels this scheme as he grabs one end of the mummy's wrappings and gives a mighty yank, causing the creature to spin furiously before tumbling into a vat of boiling wax. Anuket, grateful to Hercules and to a slave who gave his life for hers, promises that on returning to Egypt she will work to free all slaves.

The series "Big Bad Beetleborgs" (later called "Beetleborgs Metallix") ran for two seasons on Fox Kids network between 1996 and 1998. One of the regular characters is Mums, a 5,000 year-old Egyptian mummy that can unwrap his bandages to reveal a 'grim reaper'-like form. Only two episodes center around this character. In first season episode 37, entitled "The Curse of Mums' Tomb", two archaeologists come to the haunted mansion to reburry Mums because they believe it let loose a curse upon them that makes them sneeze and itch all the time. In second season episode 18, entitled "The Curse of the Mummy's Mommy", Mums' mommy, who is also a mummy, comes to town.

Popular television series that followed the successful movie " Stargate" (USA, 1994) chronicles the further adventures of SGC (Stargate Command). It turned out that the Goa'uld Ra in the original movie was only one of many alien System Lords who used the Stargates to conquer much of the universe. Compared to the movie only very few Egyptian elements and themes are left in this series, scattered throughout the many episodes.
